Jpop vs. Kpop Male Artist(s)/Singer(s)

PLEASE NO BASHING WHETHER JPOP OR KPOP SUCKS. I LOVE BOTH MUSIC VERY MUCH AND THIS VIDEO WAS MADE JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT SO DON’T TAKE THIS VIDEO SERIOUSLY~! Another video that I just threw together cause I was bored. This took me longer then what I had planned but oh well. This was really hard to do cause I don’t really know any korean boy groups so I had to rely on my friend on what artists there were so I tried my best to choose ones that were most “compatible” with the video’s that I had in mind. I also did some research as to when the singles were released so people won’t be saying things like me comparing new music to old music. Anyways on that note I would like to say is that I tried to be as fair as possible, so don’t say that I was being biased over jpop or kpop. I’m sorry for the audio being different volume at certain parts of the video, and the video quality not matching up, its just the way the music video was when I downloaded. For my next video i’ll try to make it consistant instead of it being all over the place or random xD Japan – Korea 2009 Please watch the video to find out which music video’s I used. If this video goes down, I will re-upload it. I’m planning on making a male&female video where theres atleast a male and female singing together, so watch out for it~! (sorry if that sounded weird xD) NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED.

Can’t deny Kpop is increasingly popular in Japan. quite an accomplishment for foreign artists to have top songs in Japan right?
Didn’t Taeyang’s album or song “wedding dress” reach #2 most popular in Canada?
Wasn’t Wonder girls song “Nobody” reach top five most popular single in US sales? And their cd broke into US Billboard top 100? Don’t ever remember any Jpop group do this??

    kpop owns jpop

  8. gamegina says:

@stirrednotshaken7 yeah sure top 5 songs on the daily or sometimes weekly charts but compare it to other Jpop artists, come on. Kpop is just starting in Japan yet a couple of delusional fans think they’re already dominating.

So are you saying SNSD, Big Bang and Kara didn’t have top five songs in Japan last year?
Hummmm….. I swear I watched the Japanese tv stating otherwise.
I guess in Japan they even give tv shows to singers who aren’t even popular huh?

I think that Korean singers are better at singing. They have nicer voices.

    K Pop all the way!

  13. xXxChokocchixXx says:

if you ask me it’s RIDICULOUS to compare kmusic and jmusic.
they both have their own strong and weak points…and i really LOVE them both ♥
i think i only like jmusic better because i understand Japanese (but i’m trying to learn learn Korean too) + i’ve been into jmusic since i was 8 and in kmusic since i was 13. But still…i don’t think those two have to fight against each other all the damn time! it’s really making me sad that everyone are choosing “sides” :( ( they’re BOTH awesome!

@iheartchocolate4 Yamapi, Nishikdo Ryo, Yusuke Yamamoto, Kaname Jun, Kame, Akihiro Sato, Saga, Marimiya Hiroki, Ikuta Toma, Jin, and a whole lot more…

Don’t be so ignorant praising Koreans and bashing Japanese just coz you’re blinded by Kpop

And when you said “Most of the top jpop charts are all kpop artsts!!”, that irks me. On overall charts only DBSK and BoA (kpop) manages to reach top. BoA even struggles nowadays. The likes of BB, SNSD, KARA don’t even come close.

  16. iheartchocolate4 says:

@Yukishiro92 oh really? thx for the info…. it DID sound sort of exagerated…

  17. iheartchocolate4 says:

@gamegina well then mind introducing me to one? ;p

  22. Syysuhri says:

I think its a good argument that Japanese music industry has many kinds of genres going on so they don’t focus only in pop which somewhat tell the difference… Also they have their own style where as korean music is more western.. Kpop groups are trained more and there is more investments in them so they look “cooler” than japanese groups. Then again Korean groups are sometimes so focused on the dancing that their vocals are second to japanese. I love korean music but my first love was japanese

  23. Syysuhri says:

    I like both >.<

  24. KATTUNLOVE98 says:

    JPOP!!

  25. SaranghaeSungminnie says:

@LhenQ318 I love you for saying that, hehe. ^_^
